Cookie Policy

What we store on your device, why, and how to change your mind.

Last updated: September 25, 2026

1. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They let the site remember things between page loads and between visits — for example, that you already chose a language, or that you dismissed a notice. Similar technologies such as local storage and tracking pixels work the same way, and this policy covers those too.

2. How We Use Them

We use cookies and similar technologies on foodtrailerpros.com for the following purposes:

  • Essential — keep the site working: remembering your cookie choice, keeping you signed in to your account, and securing forms. These cannot be turned off without breaking the site.
  • Analytics — understand which trailers, services, and pages people look at, so we know what to build and write more of. We use Google Analytics 4 for this, and its cookies are set only after you accept them. Our website platform also keeps basic visit statistics (see below). This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.

3. Cookies and Storage We Use

These are the specific cookies and browser storage items used on this site:

  • ftp_cookie_consent (browser local storage, essential): remembers whether you accepted or declined cookies. It is kept for 12 months, and then we ask again.
  • Site settings (browser local storage, essential): our website platform (Base44) stores a few technical values, such as the site ID and the page you were on, so pages load correctly and sign-in can return you to the right page.
  • Sign-in session (browser local storage, essential): set only if you sign in to an account on this site.
  • _ga and _ga_ZCZ4KX4G7S (cookies, analytics): set by Google Analytics 4 only after you click Accept. They last up to 2 years. If you later decline, we delete them.
  • Google Maps (third-party cookies): the map on our Find Us page is provided by Google, which may set its own cookies when the map loads. The map loads only after you accept cookies or click "Show map".
  • Platform statistics (browser local storage, no cookies): our website platform (Base44) records basic page visits and time on site, and stores a random session ID (base44_analytics_session_id) in your browser to group them. It is not used for advertising.

4. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies come from services we use rather than from us directly. We do not control the cookies set by these providers, and their own privacy policies apply:

  • Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC), to measure site traffic. You can see how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
  • Embedded content, such as the Google map on our Find Us page and any embedded videos.
  • Our financing partners, when you leave our site to start an application on theirs.

5. Your Choices

When you first visit the site, we ask whether you accept non-essential cookies. If you decline, we will not set Google Analytics cookies, and the embedded Google map stays off unless you choose to load it. We still use the essential storage and the platform statistics described above.

Until you accept, Google Analytics may still receive cookieless, non-identifying measurement signals about page visits (Google Consent Mode). These signals do not read or set cookies on your device.

You can change your mind at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of any page. If you decline after accepting, we delete the Google Analytics cookies already set on this site. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings — every major browser lets you do this — though some features may stop working properly if you block essential cookies.

We ask again after 12 months, or sooner if we start using a new kind of cookie.

Declining does not reduce the information or services available to you on this site.

6. Do Not Track

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is still no agreed industry standard for how sites should respond to it, so we do not currently change our behavior based on that signal. We do honor the choice you make in our own cookie banner.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as the tools we use change. Updates will be posted on this page with a new revision date. For how we handle personal information more broadly, see our Privacy Policy.
