Food Trailer Financing — Frequently Asked Questions

Do you really finance food trailers in-house?

Yes. Food Trailer Pros is both the manufacturer and the lender. We carry the financing on the trailers we build — no outside bank is involved.

Do I need perfect credit to qualify?

No. We don't approve buyers the way a bank does. Approval is based primarily on your down payment and your ability to make weekly payments. We accept ITIN applicants.

How much is the down payment?

It depends on the size and equipment of your trailer. Your written quote shows the exact down payment for your specific build, along with weekly payment options for all three terms. The down payment is what secures your slot in our production schedule.

What financing terms do you offer?

12, 24, or 36 months, all with weekly payments. Shorter terms mean a higher weekly payment but a lower total cost; longer terms protect your weekly cash flow. Your quote shows all three side by side.

Why weekly payments instead of monthly?

Because food businesses earn weekly. A smaller payment every week is far easier to manage from daily sales than one large payment every month.

Can I pay off my trailer early?

Yes, at any time — and we offer a discount for paying off early. When your balance is paid, the title transfers to you.

Who holds the title while I'm making payments?

Food Trailer Pros remains the lienholder during the financing term — standard for any financed vehicle. You operate the trailer freely from day one, and the title transfers to your name with your final payment.

Do you finance trailers you didn't build?

No. We finance the trailers we manufacture. That's exactly why we can say yes when banks say no — we know precisely what the asset is worth, because we built it.

Can I get financing if I live outside of Texas?

We work with buyers across the United States and deliver nationwide. Contact us with your state and we'll walk you through financing and delivery for your location.

How long does the whole process take?

The application takes about 5 minutes and we respond quickly with your quote. Once you're approved and your down payment is in, your trailer enters the production schedule — your sales rep will give you the current build timeline for your spec.

Ready to Get Rolling?

The application takes about 5 minutes and doesn't obligate you to anything. You'll get a real quote, with real numbers, from the people who will actually build your trailer.
